Kimi Sheng is an actor, musician, and writer. They enjoy asking essential questions about the world before, right now, and what will be.

They recently workshopped their original play,The American Rhapsody, at CalArts Coffeehouse Theater, focusing on the narrative of the new wave of queer Asian Immigrants in America.

Their most recent credits include Volver, at CalArts MOD Theater, and Sunken, at Hollywood Fringe Festival, in which the cast and crew were awarded the “No Room in the Green Room” Award.

Recently graduated from California Institute of the Arts, they are excited to embark on new adventures in storytelling, living as resistance, and uplifting drowned out voices by the flamboyance of it all…
